Managing your Instagram ad spend is crucial for staying within your budget and optimising campaign performance. If you’ve set a spending limit on your account but need to update or remove it, here’s a step-by-step guide to adjust your spend limit effortlessly.
Why is Ad Spend Limit Important?
Setting a spending limit helps you control costs and avoid accidental overspending on your ad campaigns. However, if you forget the set limit or your campaigns require a budget adjustment, your ads may stop running once the limit is reached.
Steps to Change Your Instagram Ad Spend Limit
1. Go to Payment Settings:
Access your payment settings by navigating to the Billing Hub on Facebook Business Manager.
2. Locate Account Spend Limit:
Under the Payment Settings section, find the “Account Spend Limit” option.
If your limit has been reached or needs to be updated, this is where you’ll make the changes.
3. Update or Remove the Limit:
Click on the three dots next to your account spend limit.
Select “Update” to adjust the limit or “Delete” to remove it altogether.
4. Save Changes:
Confirm your update or deletion, and your new ad spend settings will take effect immediately.
