Basic Configuration: Setting up your Ad Account

Step 1: Create a Google Ads account

1. Go to ads.google.com
2. Click "Start Now"
3. Log into Google (if you are not already logged in)
4. Click "New Google Ads Account"
5. Click "Switch to Expert Mode"
6. Click "Create an account without a campaign"
7. Select your billing country, time zone and currency
8. Select "No" on the campaign guidance from Google (you will not need this, if you are using your ads tool)
9. Click "Explore your account"
10. Click on "Tools and Settings" on the top right
11. Under "Billing", click on "Settings"
12. Add and save your payment details

You are all set, and can now connect your Google Ads account to your AI Ads tool.

Google also has another kind of sign up process. If it's asking you to create a campaign right away please follow the steps in the video.

Step 2: Connect Google Ads

1. Click on your Connect Platforms page
2. Click on "Connect"
3. Enter your Google credentials
4. Confirm the connection (all boxes should be checked)
5. Click on "Select Ad Account" to choose your ad account
6. Click "Done"

Step 3: Launch!

1. Select the Platform and Objective: you can select from the different Google options now, the most regular starter campaign is the Google Search one.

2. Select your Goal: After selecting the Platform the first button you'll find is the Goal on the top of the generator. For your first campaign you want to keep it simple, run a Traffic campaign to send users towards a landing page.

3. Launch your Google Ad

1.Prompt Your Ad - Describe your ad in detail. Tap on 'Edit prompt' to add more specific details if needed and click on Generate new ad.
2.Review the Targeting - Choose between the different keyword groups generated or customize the suggested keywords and keyword groups. Specify the geographic locations. Target specific demographics.
3.Review and Select the Creatives - Review the generated ad combinations. You can customize the ad copy, headlines, and descriptions.
4.Launch or Schedule Your Ad - Set your budget and click Launch.
